Scandinavian ticketing platform TicketCo is strengthening its UK ambitions with the appointment of Clare Kenny to its Board of Directors.

Clare Kenny is a globally respected marketer and communications strategist with extensive expertise in the sports industry and consumer business. She began her career at The FA, led international marketing for global giants like FIFA and Coca-Cola, and made history as the first female Deputy General Secretary of FIFA’s Asian Football Confederation, where she also served as Commercial Director and Head of Communications.  She has unique experience in working on all sides of the football business, as a rightsholder, a brand and service provider.

Currently, Clare consults on brand and business transformation for international companies, serves as Chair of the Board for Alive & Kicking—the world’s only not-for-profit football manufacturer—and now joins TicketCo as a Board Member.

“We are delighted to welcome Clare to TicketCo. Her background and expertise will provide valuable insights as we position ourselves to become the leading ticketing challenger in English football in 2025,” said Tore Totland, Director of the Board at TicketCo.

TicketCo’s co-founder and CEO, Carl-Erik Michalsen Moberg, echoed this enthusiasm:
“We’re kickstarting 2025 with our Don’t Forget Your Tickets conference at Emirates Stadium on January 23rd, where Clare will also serve as a moderator. This event reflects our commitment to English football and our mission to empower ticketing managers with smarter, more efficient tools. Having Clare on our board strengthens our UK focus and strategy.”

Clare Kenny has already begun collaborating with TicketCo’s executive team and is optimistic about the company’s ability to succeed in a competitive market.

“TicketCo is an undisputed leader in its home market, Norway, and well-established in others, including lower-league football in England. The next step is to break through in the EFL, and there’s every reason to believe this will happen. The platform is modern, robust, and proven—it delivers millions of tickets to Norwegian football annually. With a strong, localised UK team and excellent integration partners, we’re well-positioned for success. I’m excited to be part of this journey,” said Kenny.
