Junkyard Golf Club, TicketCo’s first UK-based client, is opening a new venue in Newcastle fuelling its continued growth.
The activity-based venue business has been sweeping the nation since 2015 by providing an indoor alternative to crazy golf combined with banging music and cocktails. Its latest venue has three nine-hole crazy golf courses, complete with scrapyard slides, wrecked car parts, circus ‘freaks’ and jungle bathtubs.
Multiple venues
Since launching a pop-up in Manchester Junkyard Golf Club has exploded and now has venues in cities including London, Manchester, Oxford, Liverpool and Leeds.
Junkyard Golf Club partnered with TicketCo in 2017 to provide the venues with bespoke time-slot digital booking and payment technology. It helped Junkyard Golf Club manage time slots easier, sell tickets faster and make it easier for customers to buy tickets.

Going to Event Tech Live
Junkyard Golf Club has also partnered with TicketCo to supply a one-off hole at its stand at Event Tech Live. Event Tech Live is a two-day celebration of the latest technology which supports the events industry.
TicketCo will be represented by David Kenny, Vice President of Greenfield Sales, at the event to showcase the power of hybrid technology to event organisers. Every visitor who registers a hole-in-one at Junkyard Golf Club’s pop-up course will be entitled to free admission at any of its venues in the UK.
Continued innovation
