“We are seeking a Customer Success Manager to join our growing team and support our new office in Ireland,” says Jessica Goodfellow, Head of Customer Success at TicketCo. 

“After careful consideration and positive feedback from a select group of Irish pilot customers, we have decided to make Ireland our next major market. We have ambitious plans and aim to make a significant impact in the market,” she adds.

Securing the success of our customers

But what is Customer Success, and what will be the responsibilities of TicketCo’s first employee in the Irish market?

“If you're a software company, your success relies on the success of your customers. It may seem simple, but in reality, it's quite complex,” says Jessica.

“So, how can you ensure your customers succeed? Offering a great service built around a quality product is a sensible starting point, but is it enough? At TicketCo, we believe there's more to it. That's why we've established a Customer Success department. Customer success means anticipating customer challenges and questions, and proactively providing solutions and answers. Our customer success strategy is focused on building strong relationships and actively supporting our customers to help them succeed.”

“This is why our very first employee at our newly established Irish entity will be a Customer Success Manager,” she explains.

A customer advocate

TicketCo’s new Customer Success Manager will serve as a customer advocate, providing internal feedback on how the company can better serve its prioritised customers and cohorts. Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Managing all post-sales activities for customers through strong relationship building, product knowledge, planning, and execution.
  • Maintaining a deep understanding of the product and discussing the most relevant features and functionality for each customer's specific business needs.
  • Ensuring that each customer has a deployment, change management, and adoption plan in place.
