TicketCo launched in the Norwegian market in Norway in 2013, expanded into the UK in 2017, and subsequently to Sweden and Poland in 2018. Our goal is to create a global presence, and this will be reached by a combination of the world’s smoothest event payments platform, a skilled and highly devoted team and equally devoted partners throughout the world driving sales and making life easier for the whole value chain within the event industry.

To prepare for further growth and market expansion, TicketCo restructured from a national to global sales teams and established a Dutch entity to doing business across the Euro zone.
The sold out friendly match between FC Isle of Man and Guernsey FC at the Bowl in Douglas is believed to be the world’s first hybrid match with physical tickets, virtual tickets and the HD quality live stream delivered via the same digital platform.

The world’s northernmost jazz festival – Varangerfestivalen in Vadsø – hosted what is believed to be Europe’s first hybrid festival with both the physical tickets, the virtual tickets and the pay-per-view live stream delivered by TicketCo.

Sweden’s first lady of popular music – Carola – signed up with TicketCo.

With venues closed throughout Europe due to Covid-19, live streaming quickly became the new normal for live music consumption. TicketCo introduces TicketCo TV, a HD pay-per-view live streaming and video on demand feature built on the top of the TicketCo platform. This combination enables physical and virtual tickets within the same customer journey, as well as up-selling of merchandise, food and beverages.

The event industry was traumatised by Covid-19, and TicketCo eased the burden by introducing voucher and waiver solutions that enabled ticket buyers to forgo their debt and organisers to maintain valuable revenues.

TicketCo partnered with the Norwegian Women’s Football League.
January 2020
TicketCo closed a £4.6M offering to fund further European growth. The oversubscribed fund-raise will enable further growth in the UK and across Europe.
2019
November 2019
Norsk Toppfotball (the association of the Norwegian top league football clubs) and TicketCo signed a framework agreement for the two top leagues in Norway. The five-year agreement has an estimated total value of 90 million GBP, making TicketCo the supreme ticketing player in Norwegian top football.
April 2019
The Swedish third tier league – Ettanfotboll – kicked off its 2019/20-season with TicketCo as their League Partner. The partnerships eenabled he 32 clubs in the league to make efficient marketing and ticket sales.
March 2019
TicketCo entered the Scottish Premier League through the signing of Kilmarnock FC on a long term agreement.

TicketCo reached the milestone of 100 million Euro of clearing.
September 2018
Twelve months after launching in the UK, TicketCo added Sweden and Poland as two new markets.

Partnerships with large football clubs such as SK Brann, Molde and Viking made TicketCo a leading supplier within Norwegian sports. The signing of the elite track and field athletic competition IAAF Diamond League Oslo Bislett Games
makes TicketCo the largest supplier in sports in Norway.

National League club Eastleigh FC became the first UK football club to choose TicketCo.

First complete ticketing and payment solution delivered to a 30,000 festival – Tysnesfest – handling all payments including ticketing, food and beverage, camping, and merchandise.

Angel Round (A-) investment with TriPod in Bergen to scale the platform and to expand to the UK.

TicketCo entered into a partnership agreement with iZettle, offering the worlds first mobile point of sales (mPOS) solution for tickets. To boost sales and to encourage card payments, we gave away free card readers to organisers (2,500 terminals and still counting).

Sales functionality added in the TicketCo organiser app enabling both sales and scanning in the same app.

TicketCo launched it’s SaaS platform and started signing up local event organisers. With a very customer driven product development driven approach we discovered a lot of unsolved sales issues for event organisers due to the former monopoly situation in the market.
TicketCo launched the TicketCo organiser app for smart phones after feedback from organisers that tickets were copied and used several times for one event.

TicketCo completed several pilot tests with local event organisers with the early MVP version of the TicketCo SaaS platform.
