Coalition Agency chose TicketCo to expand

“We have been looking for the right tools to expand our business outside the UK. With TicketCo we are now ready to go abroad,” says Creative Director Owen Kent of Coalition Agency.

The well respected British agency is managing leading international brands such as Ministry of Sound and Hedkandi. Outside the UK these tours so far have been handled by promoters. This is soon about to change.

Ticketing and marketing merged

“We want to run our own tours throughout Europe in collaboration with venue owners and local promoters. The two key factors to do so is ticketing and marketing, both of which the TicketCo technology handles smooth and efficiently in one joint operation. From now on we can have these productions on tour across Europe, managed from our London headquarters,” says Mr Kent.

“This opens up a lot of new opportunities for us,” he adds.

Ministry of Sound

One of the productions Coalition Agency will run themselves outside UK is the world’s biggest dance brand – Ministry of Sound. This is a massive musical output and event experience with a history that goes back 27 years and with an annual outreach to more than one million clubbers.

“We manage the Ministry of Sound global tours and events business. With the marketing and ticketing infrastructure well secured through TicketCo, we will now start focusing on building the tour line-up for a traditional tour through Europe. This will be announced in the coming weeks,” says the Creative Director.

Event payments made easy

The closing of Coalition Agency marks a massive milestone for TicketCo, still a newcomer in the UK market. The company’s UK Country Manager David Kenny is very pleased to have them on board.

“We are not just another ticketing company, offering more or less the same technology as every other competitor in the game. TicketCo is event payments made easy. We offer an unified platform for efficient event payments, fully integrated with cutting edge marketing tools. This is not yesterday’s news, but the new standard for all types of event payments,” he claims.

He is looking forward to cooperate with Coalition Agency.

“The way Owen and the team are planning to use TicketCo fully demonstrates how powerful our technology is,” says the head of TicketCo in the UK.

New Scandinavian tour

The Coalition/TicketCo co-operation is aiming for more than just a client/supplier relationship.

“Coalition are setting up a tour in Scandinavia, and they will use our network to have great intros. TicketCo was founded in Norway a few years back, and we are just launched in Sweden. We are thrilled to use our Scandinavian outreach to kick start Coalition in these markets,” says David Kenny.

“We are really looking forward to working with TicketCo to build a brand new Scandinavian tour,” adds Owen Kent.
