Dockland affiliate

by | Jan 2, 2019

A great event space has just become even better, as London’s Tobacco Dock has partnered with TicketCo through an affiliate partnership.

“It’s a great step forward for TicketCo in the UK to be affiliated with such a massive player,” says TicketCo’s UK Country Manager David Kenny, after putting his signature to the partnership agreement. This deal secures Tobacco Dock’s clients access to the TicketCo tool box – containing both ticketing and other innovative payment modes.

“This enables event organisers and all other clients of Tobacco Dock to benefit from a truly unique product and maximise their individual events potentially whilst enhancing their customers experience both ‘on’ and ‘off’ site, says Kenny, who is looking forward to the new partnership with great expectations.

“Affiliate deals are often hard to predict when it comes to the outcome, but we are very confident that the organisers Tobacco Dock attract will clearly see the upside of utilising our future proof ticketing and payments solution.”

One of London’s most exciting event spaces

Tobacco Dock is considered one of London’s coolest event spaces, and it hosts more than 190 events each year with a total of 300,000 participants. It’s perfectly located just a 10-minute walk from Tower Bridge and within easy reach of The City Shoreditch and Canary Wharf.

“Our unique architecture, central location and enormous capacity makes us something of a rarity in London. With over 50 different event spaces arranged over our 16,000 sqm building, our flexibility means that we’re fortunate to attract a wide variety of events.” says Jonathan Read, Tobacco Dock’s Commercial Director.

He has great expectations of this connection with the Norwegian tech company who launched in the UK late 2017 and now are starting to make a mark in the UK market.

“We’re very much looking forward to working with TicketCo. Their entrepreneurial and innovative outlook mirrors our own, making them the perfect fit for Tobacco Dock and its clients,” he states.

Historic building

Built in 1812 as a hub for commodities from the New World, Tobacco Dock is filled with history and original features. Since its relaunch in 2012, it has developed a reputation as one of London’s leading events venues.

“We’re proud to welcome a diverse range of fans to our busy venue. Whether they’re music lovers, foodies, tech or gaming enthusiasts, professional delegates or even motorcycle ‘petrol heads’, they’re drawn to our varied calendar of events. As we continue to gain momentum, we anticipate an even busier year in 2019,” says Mr Read.
