The Nordic FinTech investor Vidici Ventures and several Stavanger based investors are among the new investors in TicketCo, which conducted a successful new share issue in December 2019.

The Norwegian event payments platform, TicketCo has experienced strong growth since its market introduction in Norway in 2013. The company offers ticketing and F&B sales within the same platform and recently won a five-year contract for the Norwegian football league. Besides its home market, TicketCo has now expanded to the UK, Sweden and Poland.

As a part of the company’s long-term growth strategy, TicketCo conducted a new share issue of 5 million Euros in mid-December 2019. The round was over-subscribed, and among the new investors are the Swedish FinTech venture capital fund Vidici Ventures and several Stavanger based investors.

The purpose of the share issue is further growth, including investments in larger sales teams, continued innovation and to establish TicketCo as a European Payment Institution, licenced by The Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway.
