TicketCo partners with the Norwegian Women’s Football League

The top Norwegian women’s football league – Toppserien – have signed a major partnership deal with TicketCo. The partnership will secure all the Toppserien clubs a common, digital ticketing platform for the first time.

Toppfotball Kvinner have chosen TicketCo as its ticketing supplier for the next five years. The deal includes all of the 20 clubs in the two top tiers.

“TicketCo’s solutions are perfect for Toppserien, where we are expecting strong growth in the years to come. Our ambition is to increase our average attendances, and to achieve this its crucial to get our information out there, and to make it easy to purchase tickets,” said the Managing Director of Toppfotball Kvinner, Hege Jorgensen.

“Women’s football is experiencing a strong, positive development both in Norway and internationally. For TicketCo its a great pleasure to be able to contribute to a further growth and boost of Toppserien,” said TicketCo CEO Kaare Bottolfsen.

Strong synergies through a common solution

The new partnership is based upon the general agreement between TicketCo and the male equivalent of Toppserien – Norsk Toppfotball.

“It is very positive to appoint to a partner of Eliteserien, and we think we can achieve strong synergies through a common solution for all the Norwegian top clubs, independent of gender. It will strengthen the product,“ said Jorgensen.

“We are happy and proud to be able to offer this service to the two top tiers of Norwegian women’s football. When we partnered with our first Norwegian football club in 2015, we never could have foreseen that five years later we would have all the top Norwegian clubs – covering men and women – as our clients,” said Bottolfsen.

More than just ticketing

The partnership with TicketCo provides the clubs access to more than just ticketing. It also includes a fully integrated sales solution for kiosks at each stadium. This simplifies sales, and enables clubs to up sell items to ticket buyers.

The solution also includes an integrated access control functionality, as well as marketing integrations. Besides this, the clubs will gain full control of their sales data, and through TicketCo’s customer driven development they will have strong impact on future innovation.
