Media and films event ticketing
Important considerations when choosing your ticketing system
Guide
Finding the right sales technology
Hosting festivals, film screenings or media conferences requires management of ticketing, registration, sales and/or time-slot-management. There are ways of managing this more efficiently, and therefore maximise both attendance, sales and reducing costs:

Don’t let queues hinder sales at the event
When the break is approaching we all know people stampede over to the food and drink stalls, queues are building up and some late people might even skip the whole thing and get their snacks from across the road. Instead, make sure you use a sales platform that allows easy payments, as this will reduce the queues. Encourage people to buy the goods directly on their phone with one-click payments that can be quickly collected at the stand. In addition, make sure you use modern card readers that processes payments 25% faster than traditional card machines.
Choose a platform that manages both ticketing and sales
Today the online ticketing and registration does not have to be a separate entity (and cost) to the sales that occur during the event, such as food, drinks and merchandise. In fact, if you choose a ticketing & sales platform that integrates both, you have more opportunities to sell more for your event.
Time slot bookings
Setting up events take time and resources (and frustration). Make sure you use an event platform that lets you easily copy events into multiple time slots.
Pre-sell more
Just ask yourself why a customer would need to go through several different purchase processes and queues to buy things for your event? The answer is different systems. If you chose a ticketing and sales platform that is integrated, you can pre-sell goods they can buy at the event at the same time they buy their ticket. This means you have a significant amount of sales made already before people go through the door.
Minimise accounting costs
After the event you might be expected to collect sales data from the online ticket sales, event sales from food, drinks and merchandising and in addition include all costs from the different sales systems. Be smart and chose a ticketing and sales platform that manages all your ticketing and sales, both online and offline – one report, one settlement and one payment.
